Revelry

It's funny how the eves of Christmas and New Year's Day has evolved into days of getting out of the house. Like, if you can only leave the house once a year, do it on New Year's Eve.

Nah, just lamenting on the torrent of people "celebrating" the coming of a new year. I mean, how many people really do know why or what all the ruckus is for?

I'm staying at home. No countdowns, not very eager.

Just a little update. Changed my phone to this beauty over here, and as such I hope there will be more photos coming up!

And, with a little forced enthusiasm, Happy New Year!

I'm Back

On block leave, due to the holidays (until Tuesday night which is then back to island life)

Thanks to my guest blogger!

To everyone else, I'm really doing great.

Just a short one here.

Guest Blogger Gets Into Gear

Alright alright! Because King Invictus had vapourised, I am here to keep his blog alive and KICK-ing.

I asked King Invictus what I can blog about, and he just said "anything lar, maybe how I always eavesdropped on other people unintentionally."

So yes, I shall make a head start with this special characteristic of him.

Eavesdropping practically all the time unintentionally, an art that not many people acquire, is a talent of this die-hard Liverpool fan. Yes, so you could have been laughed at by him and a couple of his friends =p

A bonus for King Invictus when he reads this, Liverpool is 3rd on the scoreboard now, Arsenal at 4th. Well, but Man U is still 1st though. Ya I see Ain smiling.

Shall keep my identity anonymous! =p

Before It Happens

Hours before my inevitable vapourisation, I shall help myself to the latest episode of BLEACH!

Good things come and go! Now, to move on to another segment of my little life, anticipating greatly!

Not to deny, I feel the stress building. Ever felt a strange difficulty in breathing deeply, like your lungs are suddenly replaced by a bunch of great wonder bras that require massive volumes of air in the coming of an event? That is a sign of stress and anxiety with respect to the event itself, and it is not a bad occurrence at all! It promotes adrenaline that actually boost performance yadayadayada (sorry, been reading too much into sports psychology/physiology).

So, I wonder how my vapourisation would go about. would I vapourise like Edward's mum, or would I vapourise like the Bounts? We shall see.

No updates, unless my guest blogger gets into gear!

(If Santa is reading, I would really like a Monette Mouthpiece for Christmas. The kind made for jazz where you sound really bright without really trying. However, I dont really believe that Santa gives gifts after watching 10 seasons of South Park (in South Park, Santa has a intense rivalry with Jesus while fighting alongside him with a suppressed semi-automatic pistol))

Alumni Band

Alumni Band was great and wonderful and terrific and what-else-more!

It was like playing in the same band that I "grew up" with, even though the older members were not present then. Hope that this wonderous gathering of people with the same passion for making music together would continue for many more years! (we could actually market ourself as a jazz/latin band since we are so good at blasting. yes, even the bassoonist blasted)

Rhapsody in Blue was really theatrical, but it was kind of silly of me to move my head in an attempt to make sure that the flutter-tonguing on high concert F was sustained.

El Cumbanchero was blasting goodness. Yes, if you did hear the bassoon/flute melody at the beginning you would have agreed as that was the softest part of the piece! The rest was eardrum bursting.

Come on Singapore Conference Hall, admit that it was the best music that you have contained in a long time. I'm sure no CO can sound like that.

Countdown!

Yup, about 10 days to vapourisation.

I will probably disappear from the lives of most and start something anew [but i'll still appear time and again to the few of you out there lar, and maybe talk over Teh Kao & Very Fast]

Just in case, suicide's not the thing!

Looking forward to Sunday! El Cumbanchero & Rhapsody In Blue sounds rather good!

For Christmas, I want good music. Shameless me just wants to make it known that a few of my favourite artistes have new stuff out (but i'll get them myself lar)
