That 10.89 km [Saturday Part 2]

My Saturday is not going to end just by a great shopping experience. I went to the beach.

It is becoming rather regular for me, just that this time without my bike [it's still at my cousin's house after he borrowed it nearly a month ago]. I do not want to go down to Bukit Merah just to get my bike back since I have other more important stuff at hand [like JCT].

So, at the beach I saw SAF planes and helicopters flying around. Apparently they were having a National Parade rehearsal. The planes look quite good, just that the smoke they used for the display were non-coloured [just a rehearsal] but I'm sure it would be as good as it has always been.

Too bad. I can never make it to the Air-Force with eyesight like mine. To fly one must have myopia<100 degrees in each eye. For my eyes, one more zero at the back for one eye but I forgot which eye already. SIGH.

And I just found out that I would most probably be a PES C or even E which means that I would have a chance at being clerk. NO! I don't want to be a clerk! Admin work. Yuck! Sitting in a office 9-5. Yuck! [maybe I'm wrong but this is what I think]

Enough of that. After awhile at the beach, I still don't want to go home and face the notes yet [read:1800+hours] so I decided to continue with my hike.

So I walked and walked, turning here and there. Went east-north-east-south-east-north-east-south-east-north-west-south [look above]. Took a total of about 124minutes and received aching second toes on each foot [lesson #1: don't wear flip-flops on hikes]. Along with ankle and knee aches [lesson #2: stretch].

So I got back to the beach and got McDonald's dinner! Went home and calculated my distance on this Singapore Street Directory website [it cost $0.53 and charged to my phone. Argh!]. 10.89 km! Wow! Not too bad after all, but I still haven't found a way to complete 28km. Another time maybe, but in shoes.
So that's how my Saturday went. Time to study again. Later!
