Insomnia
Counting sheeps have never worked anything for me since my first experience with insomnia..
Like..
I'll always end up with a sweaty back and a very warm bed that actually just makes falling asleep much more difficult..
Experience that before? I'm sure..
Something I have found out..
Lying in bed is not an option..
And that if one actually gets out of the bed and walk around or even watch a little TV [just don't turn on the lights] one would eventually feel a little tired after awhile..
Which is what I am doing right now..
Just a little difference..
I refuse to get into bed just yet [don't want to warm up the bed]
The feeling of lying in a very warm bed sounds good in winter but in Singapore..
I would say it is kind of gory..
Yuck..
And speaking of gory..
Power 98 has provided me with quite abit of gore these past few days..
Like on Wednesday night..
Soo of 2nite Show was having this call-in funniest joke contest..
And one listener came in with this joke..
[In a park there was a couple and they were behaving very intimately..
They were kissing and after awhile they were French-kissing..
After that, the woman told her boyfriend
"You are such a romantic person..
Passed me your chewing gum just now.."
And to that the man told her..
"What chewing gum? I only remember coughing.."]
Ok..
It's not that bad just as yet..
Thursday afternoon when I was just listening in to Power 98..
It was during their hourly news broadcast..
And I first heard about the cut-up corpse found at Kallang River..
That really caused me to have goosepimples..
Cannot believe this happening in Singapore!
Poor woman.. How can she be cut up like that!
And I really wonder who the murderer is..
Such guts..
Imagine carrying the disjointed head and placing it in a box..
Just think of how you would actually carry a bowling ball with a lifelike face on it..
Scary..
And the body..
Like would'nt the innards fall out of the body?
How can one actually use his or her hands to pick up half a torso that is cut..
And all bloody?
I read these in detective novels and all but for it to happen in Singapore..
I know low crime does not mean no crime..
And I still cannot fall asleep..
