Christmas And The Day After

On Hong Xiang's bed [nice, proper shot at last]

What else to say but it's been a while!

Have been:

1. Mass dancing
2. Reading [!]
3. Out and about
4. Painting banner [nicest ever]
5. Singing and listening
6. Everything else other than SCHOOLWORK

and I presume I will be dead with the week following seeing that the 3/7 of the week taken up by OGL camp, Boxing Day already gone, Friday's NYJC Band Concert and the weekend [NEW YEAR].

More about that later.

CHRISTMAS was:

1. K-Box joy

Singing became shouting to the extent of feeling strain in my cords but continued otherwise since it was midway in a "high" song. Regret that as it left me quite "short-ranged" during the rest of the songs.

2. Orchard Road

Avoiding "snow" [read: foam] and walking in the alleys of Orchard Road pretending to be Japanese. Then came our refuge in the small ledge off the escalator leading from Takashimaya to Lucky Plaza hiding from the foam under the security of guards at our back [who were later replaced by ah-lians whom we thought would protect us from any foamsprays]. Became the cleanest 5 walking on Orchard Road which was the scene of a war peppered by sounds of sprays and the ever present smell of aerosol.

We were attacked in the end while on our way out of Orchard [it was a get-sprayed-or-suffocate situation] hence flushing all our efforts down the drain.

Note: Fake Snow Sprays should be banned. The Foam makes the ground slippery. We witnessed about 20 falls when people make their way down the escalator. Ouch

3. Hong Xiang's House

Walked from Orchard to River Valley and then detour-ed to Muhd Sultan and Clarke Quay. From there, we tried to flag down cabs which would have been easy if not for the people who make their way ahead of us and catch the cab that was obviously heading our way. Tsk [just a little trouble].

Then on, late night McDonald's, Playstation, photos, iBook, sleeping and mad rummaging of various Friendster profiles and blogs.
