Riding The Day Away
TJ choir performed at the Marina Bay National Day celebrations today. I became the unofficial manager of choir since I never practiced the pieces much [unofficial manager cum photographer]. The organisers gave us this complimentary ticket and part of it is exchangeable for a wristband that gives the wearer unlimited rides.
So during the break between the two performances, we had a crazy time riding the free rides [typically Singaporean to maximise anything that is free].
One of them were "Music Dance" [seems to feature Michael Jackson].
Spun for a total of about 3 times [knocking my head on the back of the seat during the first time due to mis-anticipation of a change in velocity].
The Octopus.
Twirled about for 4 times in the Octopus. Each time with different people.
The Viking. Though small, basic carnival fun.
I experienced the effects of G for 4 times. Along the way we wondered how puke would flow during the course of the ride.
Crazy Surf. This is crazy with a crazy operator.
Repititive cycles of the above in both directions proved addictive for members of TJ choir. I ended up taking this ride for a record of 6 times in total! The operator was very cool. He recognised us during our second stint on the surf, and gave us extra long rides, at neck-breaking speed and direction changes.
Euphoria set in after awhile. I actually feel tired after being tossed and twirled around by machines! Yawn after yawn.
All these at the expense of Council Day. *awww*
