will those who miss chung cheng please stand up, please stand up, please stand up
Seems like it has becomed the norm to give tributes on your blog.
Here's mine, to the various people whom I have met while seated at the "prime" location at PP's Coffee Bean.
The first, The Great Madam herself "Ronnie"! First thing she said was,"So long never come back!" made me realised how much I have dumped Chung Cheng and moved on. Yup it's been a while since I went back with the sole purpose of seeking teachers out, but Ronnie, how could we forget about you? You were our most beloved teacher even though it was only a short year. To the clueless, Ronnie is Mrs Veronica Tan. To think you still worry about my studies! k lar, you are still as pretty as ever, but you broke my heart again..... and MDM, I'm not into physio because I want to touch people lar.
Then came Mr Daniel Chung of TJC. Sorry for not noticing that you were seated right in front of me (it's the display lar, block my view). Thanks for still worrying about my studies too, but at least now you know who to look for if you ever need physiotherapy next time!
It sort of became a little gathering of TJC tutors when.. 3 female tutors walked past, half the Chinese department dropped by for coffee, with Mr Ong joining in later, Ms Faye Tan walked past too! Maybe it's because it's the last day of school?
Jerrold from my class was there too. 21/05, though not really what I expected, thanks everyone!
My stupid junior Sheldon came by with his gang of friends (I believe includes Shen Xiong & Wee Meng). Wah, sec 3 already. I still remember sec-3-post-SA2, the 2 little extension weeks where it feels like the whole school belongs exclusively to you since the sec 4s are off for O levels. K lar, I owe you a meal since you passed theory. You lousy QM, dont even know what songs to play for end-of-year concert.
Lastly, Mr Tan King Ming! Fondly addressed as TKM by Isaac and I. I wolud have missed him if not for him standing at the checkout of Cold Storage with his irresistably adorable baby (oh! I forgot to ask for its name!) without a pram but instead a sling (ah! there, responsible parenting). He left CCHSM too, and is now at MoE. He asked about my studies too. I'm so glad that I did not squash you fingers between the cupboards in the QM room when we tried to implement the system by rearranging the furniture! (I nearly did! Phew)
For all the words of encouragement that I have heard today, thank you all!
sigh, i threw my life away, but i guess we just have to move on.
